Rhenus Logistics - North Melbourne

A 'Iive' transformation! Spanning 3 levels, the Rhenus Logistics office at the foot of Melbourne CBD went through the space engineering process for optimal space utilisation, with the transformation taking place without interruption to the business & with the full team in daily attendance.

Beginning at the top level and with clever structural engineering, the whole floor was made into a bright open workspace, surrounded by windows with views to the city. Situated on the middle level for team connectivity is the largest team, the team canteen & kitchen spaces, along with the relax zones & casual breakout spaces, making team meetings, training & collaboration an easy & efficient process. Ground floor is comprised of reception, client facing waiting areas & meeting spaces, along with the custom needs of the busy administration team.

All 3 levels of the building showcase large scale logistics themed wall murals, feature pendant lighting & an abundance of biophilic elements including greenery & planting. The new engineered space blueprint for the office fitout Melbourne was designed to create & nurture a culture of ‘together with passion.’ A global organisation, The Rhenus Group provides logistics services around the world, employs more than 29,000 team members, and elected to work with the ICON INTERIORS team for this amazing result.

A 'Iive' transformation! With the office spanning over 3 levels set at the foot of the Melbourne CBD, Rhenus had a challenge to fit out the 3 levels – while occupied! Beginning at the top level, the whole floor we defitted and made into an open space with clever structural engineering into a bright open workspace, surrounded by windows with views to the city. The biggest team is on the middle level, with the kitchen & breakout space, making easy for staff to come together to meet for breaks and to collaborate. Reception & meeting spaces are on the ground floor along with the admin team. Each level features large scale logistics themed wall murals & pendant lighting & an abundance of greenery building a culture of ‘together with passion.’ The Rhenus Group provides logistics services around the globe and has annual turnover amounting to EUR 4.8 billion. Rhenus employs more than 29,000 people and chose carefully to partner with the Icon team to get this amazing result!
