Australian Forest Products - Doncaster

Supplying wholesale companies Australia wide and internationally, Australian Forest Products sought Design Gen™ consultation from Icon Interiors after being left dissatisfied with floorplan designs being put forward by others. The inhouse space planning team at Icon tackled the new Doncaster offices with the additional complexities of compliance and the unusual shape of the tenancy, with the strategic building code insight and genius space utilisation expertise proving crucial for the operational optimisation.

The Icon Interiors engineered space blueprint embraced the tenancy shape complexities, opting to use strong curves for people and focus flow with optimum efficiencies. Targeted lighting being 1 of the 5 Well-being Principles™, the Icon designers also maximised the use of natural light in meeting rooms and focus spaces, providing the team with varying working zones. With sustainable forest harvesting being at the heart of Australian Forest Products, biophilic elements and custom visuals are strategically placed within the offices enhancing staff engagement and people performance.

Icon Interior's floorplan design stood out from the others making it an easy choice. Also really impressed that even after all contracts were signed, the designers kept offering ideas on small details to improve the final result. Very happy to give a recommendation to anyone.
