Gippsland Specialist Clinic
Dr Choudhuri came to us with a 1950’s Art Deco residence and a vision. Could it be converted to a compliant Group Specialist Clinic, on a minimum budget?
A specialist Gynaecologist and Obstetrician, Dr Choudhuri has extensive experience in this specialist field of medicine. With a background of nearly 2 decades of consulting experience in the UK, India, and at a range of hospitals in Australia including the Westmead in Sydney, Dr Choudhuri had a dream to create her own group medical practice in Gippsland Victoria.
Dr Choudhuri engaged the Icon studio to create a unique & bespoke medical fitout experience for her clients, and to attract additional practicing medical consultants to lease rooms in the new medical clinic. The Icon design studio reviewed the original design that had been created, and increased the amount of practicing rooms through genius space utilisation and a strategic insight into the medical building code.
I went to other companies which didn’t suit my economic situation... but Icon Interiors made it happen for me, exactly what I wanted, and within my economic barriers
Icon design studio created an additional fee earning consulting room, and reduced build costs creating an extraordinary outcome for Dr Choudhuri and the medical clinic future revenue capacity. What was once an old home, is now converted to a fully compliant, and high functioning specialist medical centre. A truly unique medical space, an extraordinary tenancy transformation, all achieved on a minimum build cost budget.
