P. Di Natale was thrilled to partner with Icon interiors to deliver their new offices in the original Footscray building – purchased by the founder Paul DiNatale in 1956 – who is still alive, & still contributing & guiding at the offices daily!
The front of house features a travertine & ceaser stone reception, with a blue stone floor & timber ceiling feature. The natural finishes selected to dignify the longevity of the founder and the man made materials to point to the new direction of the next generation led by the next generation John DiNatale and key team leaders Taleah Beasley Jodi Licastro. The Icon team redesigned the space from scratch, stripped out the ancient fitout opening up the old structural elements to create a blank canvas to re interpret the space entirely. The brief needed to underline the trusted longevity in recognition of the 60 years of service to the area, and allow growth for the new direction for today’s employees and clients. Complete new acoustic ceilings were installed with targeted LED lighting, new carpets and tiling to create the open plan workstation areas, and flexible folding walls in the meeting rooms to allow a boardroom/team space in a very compact fitout.
