Lawyer Workplace
With a clear brief from our first meeting, the client needed a space with maximum occupancy to drive their ROI. The previously acquired floorplan from another company inefficient in both fee earning capacity and functionality.
Turning the proposed space plan on its head, the inhouse Icon Interiors design team used the Force Multiplier™ methodology and the 5 principles behind the science of design to create a 100% functional engineered floorplan. We paid careful attention to noise hotspots, designing in acoustic functionality without adding extra cost, as they needed to have confidentiality between spaces.
The former company attempt at controlling noise levels would have created pressure and wouldn’t dissipate sound. Icon Interiors tackled the acoustics with multiple players contributing to the overarching acoustic strategy. By controlling acoustics at the source, we successfully ensured disruption of speech intelligibility and preserving the all– important confidentiality.
